The directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo apparently filmed multiple endings and death scenes to throw curious fans “off their track.” The ending scenes that they have filmed includes one scene where Steve and his fellow heroes “disappearing into the night,” while the second scenes involves Crossbones killing the beloved character.

The current cut of the movie is said to have the death scene featured in it. The report notes that there has always been speculation by the fans about which of the superheroes will survive till “Avengers: Infinity War” movies. “Captain America: Civil War” appears to be set to be the first movie from the franchise to feature the death of such an important character.

However, the world will still have a Captain America as a superhero, and just as in the comics; it will be The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) who will take on this role. Steve, however, is expected to be “resurrected” in the grand finale in the “Avengers: Infinity War” movies. It is still not clear how the directors plan to bring back the character, if he dies in the forthcoming movie.

“Captain America: Civil War” is slated to be released on April 29th in Australia and on May 6th in the US. Fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting to see the movie as the movie includes Spider-Man (Tom Holland).
