Count Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper as one of the sports fans who believe that Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry deserves a starting spot in the 64th NBA All-Star Game set on Feb. 15, 2015 at the Madison Square Garden in New York. New York’s NBA team, the Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets are the co-hosts in this season’s NBA-All Star festivities.

One of Canada’s most powerful persons tweeted his support for Lowry on Wednesday, a move that could garner the Raptors PG some extra votes in his bid to becoming an NBA All-Star this season.
