Even before Kate and William tied the knot, the now Duchess of Cambridge's fashion style has only grown infinitely. Everything she wears end up either in news, print, and duplicates sell out within seconds. Her Alexander McQueen gown is now reportedly worth £1M.

Recently, Francisco Costa, design head for Clavin Klein U.S. label expressed his intention to work with the Duchess of Cambridge. He also added that the he believes Catherine has all the potential to be a "style icon." He also said that despite being British, she looked like an "All-American girl."

"She's very Calvin, when you think about it," Costa told in his interview with the Telegraph. "She's athletic looking, with great teeth and amazing hair. In many ways she looks like an all American Girl. So, yes, I'm putting it out there: I'd love to dress her."

If the Duchess were to endorse Calvin Klein, it would be great profit for the company. L.K. Bennett, the brand behind Kate's trademark nude pumps was able to open shops in the States, where her fashion effect is as powerful, if not, more so compared in the UK.

The Duchess of Cambridge opts to wear brands that would honor British labels when she performs her royal duties. But when the occasion demands, Kate also wears international brands from different fashion houses.

For now Mr. Costa would have to join the others in line and wait in queue until the right moment comes.
