Justin Bieber appears very toned and muscular in his recent campaign photos for Calvin Klein. However, the singer's physical appearance has since been criticised, with others claiming airbrushing was done to achieve his ripped abs.

A few people who saw Justin Bieber's photos for the brand took to social media to express their thoughts regarding his physique. According to Mail Online, they weren't very convinced that what the photos show as the pop star's muscles are naturally his, since they reportedly look much defined. One Twitter user named BionicBombshell even claimed "they airbrushed Justin Bieber to the high heavens!" He also questioned Calvin Klein over photo shopping the images. The user claimed the singer's face was just put to someone else's body, adding he'd rather see "Justin's body double than that horrible photoshop."

Likewise, a screen grab from the video below for the campaign, where Justin is seen with model Lara Stone, shows the singer's abs looking not so defined. Critics were quick to point out the differences from the campaign shots to the screen grab. Mail Online shared the photo comparison, where it clearly shows Justin's abs looking more ripped in the shots compared to the video.

Mail Online has reached out to Calvin Klein to address the rumours of photo shop. However, as for Justin the 20-year old revealed he'd had intense workout to achieve the toned body for his Calvin Klein campaign. Bieber's muscles reportedly developed over time with his constant presence at the gym. According to the site he is very committed to working out that he was allegedly even seen doing some pull ups even with a broken foot. A video has allegedly showed the pop star walking into a weights room using his crutches and setting them aside so he could do his pull ups. Likewise, the singer has also been showing his exercise moves while in the gym through his Instagram account.

The singer also revealed his preparation for the Calvin Klein shoot during an interview with US Weekly. To attain his toned muscles and defined abs, Justin Bieber claimed he had worked out with his trainer Patrick Nilsson for "five days a week for about 45 minutes each." "We do three days splits: back and triceps one day, chest and biceps on day two, shoulder and legs on day three, and abs every other day," he said.

Not gonna lie Justin Bieber looks really good in his Calvin Klein shoot, but his abs are definitely airbrushed or photoshopped on. — Trigga Dave (@dieseldee22) January 7, 2015
