"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" may have just been released this week, but that does not mean that developer Sledgehammer Games is not back in the drawing board to improve the title. Spotted by MP1st, it appears that Sledgehammer's Michael Condry has already hinted at what fans can expect once they roll out improvements.

What fans should first note is that the list of improvements released by the developer is just the tip of the iceberg. The team behind "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is also accepting fan feedback on what they would want to see improved in the game. The list below contains improvements that Sledgehammer Games have already started working on, but expect more to be added to the list in the future:

- MP chat icon size and placement

- Kill confirmed score limit

- Camo challenge tuning

- Prestige emblem reset

- Speed reload timing

- 2XP messaging

- Score mismatch when player leaves public lobby (Doesn't affect Combat Record)

- COD vision team colour improvements

The fourth point was previously found out by Charlie Intel. It was reported in the site that after fans have made their player emblems in "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," the emblems were reset once the player prestiges every time in the game. Since Sledgehammer has already mentioned this in the planned improvements, this is probably a glitch, and fans should hold off on painstakingly designing emblems lest they want to see them reset.

In another report from Express, the developer has also hinted that there will be new game modes as well as new weapons. However, the kind of weapons and modes was not specified nor the timeline with which the developer plans to incorporate them in the game.

Sadly, though, it's not all fun and upcoming updates for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," as there is also talk of multiplayer issues and lags currently experienced by players. The problems are not so simple, as Gameranx reports that players are already starting to turn away from playing the game because of it.

According to the report, the servers used for the multiplayer aspect is peer-to-peer, and as much as it tries to make up for the low bandwidth players, competitive play is highly affected. This can mean wrongly fired shots or wrongly timed shootouts.

The problem seems to be very pronounced that when comparing the performance of "Call of Duty: Ghosts" multiplayer, which made use of hybrid servers and this year's "Advanced Warfare," the latter loses out. And that's already to a competitor that did not have the best solution to boot. Perhaps Activision and Sledgehammer Games can think of server solutions to add to their improvements so they can avoid losing out players this early in the game.
