"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" defines itself from the COD franchise with one main thing-its futuristic approach to the combat that brings in new-age technology including the much hailed exoskeleton suits for battle.

Given that this literally changes the way the game is played and how the battleground would feel like for players, there is a chance that some fans who have been used to the way "Call of Duty" is played may find it unappealing for the sudden change.

Just for these fans, developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that they will be providing the Exo suits as an option rather than a mandatory equipment in battle, so that those who want to go back to the old ways don't need to be shocked with such "advanced warfare."

"We understand that some players may want to go back to the more traditional style, so there will be a traditional playlist where you can play Team Deathmatch and Domination and Capture the Flag and others without boost jump, without the Exo," Sledgehammer Games' Michael Condrey said in an interview as quoted by PC Gamer.

'Call of Duty' Movie a Possibility with Activision Plans

Videogames turned movies are becoming a trend, with "Uncharted," "The Last of Us" and "Assassin's Creed" already confirmed to hit the big screen in their respective timelines.

And if Activision's new plan for a studio is to be believed, "Call of Duty" may soon follow suit.

Engadget has heard from source The Information that the publisher may be looking to launch a studio that focuses solely on TV and movie features that are focused on their own franchises.

According to the report, this would ensure a way to create these TV and movie plans without having to license out franchises. At the same time, it prevents the possibility of putting the franchise in danger of hands transfer and project executions that deviate from the spirit of the titles.

As far as the studio is concerned, there are no definitive events yet, just discussions. The rumour remains as such until Activision gives it a go signal, but considering the rise of videogame-based movies, and the fact that "Call of Duty" is just waiting to be made into one, it might be a question of "when" rather than "if."
