The “Dear Kitten: Regarding The Big Game” video continues to attract viewers since it was published on YouTube on Jan. 22. It was a collaborative project of digital publisher BuzzFeed and pet food brand Friskies and was featured at the NFL Super Bowl 2015.

Not only did the project mark BuzzFeed’s first time to create a television commercial. It also marked Friskies’ first time to advertise during the Super Bowl. The idea came up when the two companies were brainstorming for the fifth installment of their “Dear Kitten” branded Web series.

In “Dear Kitten: Regarding The Big Game,” cats are in a mission to annoy the Super Bowl viewers as much as possible so that they get a fresh can of Friskies cat food from the humans who want to stop them from disturbing their NFL weekend.

At one point of the commercial, one cat makes fun of a group of football viewers huddling around the television, hooting, hollering and eating on Super Bowl Sunday, which also featured Katy Perry’s halftime show set.

During the NFL championship game, the 60-second TV spot of “Dear Kitten: Regarding The Big Game” aired in the cat-themed markets of Kitty Hawk, N.C., Los Gatos, Calif. and Pawnee City, Neb. Watch the longer version, which is 3 minutes and 39 seconds long, here:
