Business technology leaders Decoded, IBM, Innosight take to CeBIT 2016 stage
Six digital and innovation gurus will descend upon the Sydney Olympic Park in May, armed with keynote speeches about the future of Australia’s business technology landscape.
From the visionary behind Decoded, the start-up famous for teaching anyone to code in a day, to the Chief Innovation Officer at IBM, the line up of speakers are expected to provide delegates at CeBIT Australia 2016 – Asia Pacific’s largest and longest running business technology event – with invaluable insights into the biz-tech industry.
The keynote speakers include:
1 | Kathryn Parsons, Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Decoded
Boasting a position on Marie Claire’s Women at the Top Pioneer Awards and Business Insider’s 30 Most Important Women Under 30 in Tech list, Parsons is one of the brains behind Decoded, the world’s biggest technology educator.
She has been described as a “coding evangelist” and an “economic force of digital innovation”, and her business seeks to demystify the “dark arts of code, data, future technology and cyber security”.
2 | Dr Bernard S. Meyerson, Chief Innovation Officer at IBM
Dr Meyerson, once named ‘Inventor of the Year’ by the New York State Legislature, will school delegates on the Cognitive Era, a new phase of information technology that means all current expectations of ‘Information Technology’ need to be reimagined.
3 | Scott Anthony, Managing Partner at Innosight
The managing partner of strategy and innovation consulting firm Innosight, which was co-founded by Clayton Christensen, Anthony is no stranger to ‘disruptive innovation’. He has worked with senior executives of Global 1000 companies, governments, non-profits and start-ups over the last decade.
4 | Scott Monty, Ex-head of social media at Ford Motor Company
The former Ford crisis communications advisor and social media head is an internationally recognised leader in the digital communications and digital transformation fields. Today, Monty can be found helping brands and agencies with strategy, executive communications, influencer management, the customer experience, and digital initiatives.
5 | Ross Dawson, Australian entrepreneur, Futurist and Strategy Advisor
Dawson has the experience to back up his many titles, including keynote speaker, bestselling author and leading futurist. He is the founding chairman of the Advanced Human Technologies group of companies, and has delivered executive workshops in 27 countries for organisations such as Ernst & Young, Macquarie Bank, News Limited and Procter & Gamble.
6 | Shara Evans, Technology Futurist and Commentator
The founder and CEO of technology analyst firm Market Clarity, Evans works with companies to harness the latest technology innovations to develop new lines of business. Highly regarded as one of the world’s top female futurists, she is also a well-known commentator on telecommunications and technology issues in the industry.
Together with Dawson, she will reveal her predictions for what will have the biggest impact on business technology within the next few years.
CeBIT Australia will run from 2 May – 4 May 2016 at the Sydney Olympic Park. Apart from the keynote speeches, the event will feature 11 conference streams and over 400 exhibitors.
