New content for expansions may have been seen by fans in the actual "Destiny" game, but there are some that aimed to look for other areas to determine where Bungie aims to take its latest creation. In the case of IGN, it managed to find some clues from the older game by the developer that was equally well-received: "Halo."

Considering the similarities that the two titles have in terms of gameplay feel and design, the source also discovered that Bungie may have been planning "Destiny" long before it had been in actual production. One clue found was the fact that the white orb that had been teased time and again for "Destiny" can be seen in "Halo 3: ODST." And if that's not enough, "DESTINY AWAITS" is also written in the said poster.

Given that Bungie has also been clear about making "Destiny" a years-long franchise, it's not impossible for the developer to have big plans for the game's future. For instance, IGN cites the possibility of expanding the vehicles. The Sparrow is becoming a favourite in the game--for a whole lot of reasons--but with three classes operating in "Destiny," it would be interesting how Bungie will develop more vehicles.

Just as vehicles can expand, weapons can also be a source of additional post-launch content in the future. Shooter games have always had these kinds of expansions, whether big or small, in order to diversify the gameplay. This is supported by the fact that Bungie does not want players resorting to the same type of strategy time and again. For now, however, these are merely speculations, at least until Bungie teases a few more plans for expansions.

Another are that "Destiny" players are trying to explore is the Moon, where a new craze has formed following the dying hype of lootable caves. Players are reportedly trying to make Hellmouth their next rite of passage, seeing whether or not they can make the jump across. PixelDynamo reports that some players have tried crossing the big gaping Hellmouth, with one Reddit user ForeverLoading documenting a successful jump with the use of a Sparrow and Bladedancer.

The Redditor had used a Hunter, but there are now debates on whether Titans and other classes can make the jump, as many who tried have failed. In an amusing compilation of Hellmouth jumps, VG 24/7 has managed to collect a few documented trials in "Destiny."

Some make use of the Bladedancer's super with and without the Sparrow. There are also failed attempts, as seen in the link above. The video below shows off a Titan aiming to jump the Hellmouth and failing.
