Two Barden Bellas have already joined “Pitch Perfect 3,” and now the latest casting news has confirmed that Brittany Snow is set to reprise her role as a passionate yet nodes-challenged singer Chloe in the movie.

Snow will be joining Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson in the third installment of the hugely popular movie franchise “Pitch Perfect,” Variety reports. The original movie, which was released in 2012, grossed $113 million (AU$155 million) worldwide, while its sequel, “Pitch Perfect 2,” earned more than the original, grossing $282 million (AU$386.8 million) worldwide.

Meanwhile, the actress took to Twitter on Wednesday to say, “hair was never gunna stay blonde anyway,” adding, “more songs with our mouths,” referring to her participation in the third installment of the movie. She also shared a link of Variety’s Twitter page for the exclusive casting news.

It is not yet clear how the story will unfold in the upcoming film, as most of the Barden Bellas already graduated in “Pitch Perfect 2.” Cosmopolitan speculated that Bella graduates will return to complete their master’s studies, and Snow’s Chloe will be retaking her senior year with the intention to stay with the group. Fans are also hoping to see Wilson’s Fat Amy character getting married to her boyfriend, Bumper, played by Adam DeVine.

Meanwhile, Kendrick, who plays the Barden Bella’s co-leader in “Pitch Perfect 2,” previously confirmed her appearance in the movie’s third installment via Instagram. The “Into the Woods” star shared the news on her Instagram account by posting a selfie of her showing three fingers. Kendrick captioned the snap, “Happening #3.”

Kay Cannon, who also wrote the first two movies of the “Pitch Perfect” franchise, is writing the script of “Pitch Perfect 3." Elizabeth Banks, who directed “Pitch Perfect 2”, has yet to confirm whether she is directing the third installment or not.

“Pitch Perfect 3” is set to release on July 21, 2017.
