Britney Spears proves she still has it. In fact, she more than has it, she's golden. She's set to make $1 million weekly for her Vegas shows, a news report calculates. Against earlier reports, she's also going to make more money per show now than Jennifer Lopez, who also just signed a deal with Planet Hollywood.

According to TMZ, following her camp's negotiations, the "Toxic" singer received a raise. Instead of making $310,000 a show, she has now slated to earn $475,000 a show because of her residency. This tantamount to earning a thousand bucks shy from what Sin City's top moneymaker, Celine Dion, earns. Moreover, the singer is slated to perform 140 shows for over two years at Planet Hollywood. She was only allotted 96 shows before. Calculations would show that the pop queen is going to receive around $1 million to her account weekly.

Following Spears and Dion's humongous amounts is Jennifer Lopez. It was revealed by TMZ on Wednesday morning that the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer just signed a two-year, $26.3 million residency deal in Vegas as well. The singer is bound to make $350,000 a show. While this would have been higher than what Britney Spears was earning for her shows before, with Queen of Pop's raise, Jennifer Lopez is now going to earn $125,000 less than Britney.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears' infamous kiss with Madonna back in the 2003 MTV VMAs, is finally explained recently by her long-time manager, Larry Rudolph. According to the manager, it was Madonna who was very insistent that the kiss happen, and for it to happen as perfectly as possible. The manager shared that Madonna was rigid about rehearsals so that everything would be executed perfectly.

"Madonna had been very, very, very rigid about the rehearsals. She was telling Britney and I every day, 'Be here tomorrow at 10 o'clock," he told the Billboard Magazine. She would never address me by name; she would just say, "You make sure Britney's here tomorrow at 10 o'clock," the manager added. When the kiss happened perfectly and became one of the most talked about and memorable performances ever, Madonna was all hugs and kisses to the manager, saying all their hard work and practice paid off.
