Britney Spears and her beau Charlie Ebersol reportedly broke up after eight months of dating. The “Stronger” singer also removed pictures of Ebersol from her Instagram account after a week of buzzing about the possibility they will get marry.

Eberol, 32, is a TV and film producer and the son of actress Susan St. James and NBC Sports Chairman Dick Ebersol. In March, Spears revealed to People magazine about her relationship with Ebersol. The singer added Ebersol had a good relationship with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

"They relate to him really well, and they have fun together," she said. "He's refreshing to be around and really light-hearted," she added during the interview.

According to a CNN, the talk about their split heated up when she posted an image of her with 22-year-old Harris Beall on Twitter with the caption, "So nice to be home! Nothing like Louisiana boys." E News reports the hunky Southern fella bumped into Spears at The Prop Stop Bar and Grill in Louisiana’s Tickfaw River on Sunday.

Fans of the pop singer began speculating that this boy was the reason for the breakup. According to Access Hollywood, a source, who was able to get the statement of college hunk Beall, claimed the speculation is not true as the boy has no affiliation with the singer.

Beall told the magazine that he’s just a typical college football player who works at a bar on Louisiana’s Tickfaw River. "I was walking down by the dock and Britney said, 'Can I take a picture with you?' because she liked my shirt," Beall recalled. He confirmed he has no affiliation with Spears. Beall clarified to the magazine that he was just joking when he retweeted Spear’s post and wrote "Oops I think I'm in love."
