Bristol Palin says God is with her through the controversy over her longevity at Dancing With The Stars. The younger Palin's stint at the competitive dancing show has been marred with negative issues, but Bristol says that faith and prayers help her throughout the show.

Just a few days before the finale, Bristol was sent an unidentified white powder along wth a threatening letter on the set of the Dancing With The Stars in Los Angeles. The studio was evacuated by the police. The powder out to be nothing but talcium, a harmless substance.

Palin told People, "It is faith that got me through this and just praying all the time and just relying on God and knowing that He is on our side and we'll get through this."

Jennifer Grey of the "Dirty Dancing" fame was declared the new winner of the Dancing With the Stars Mirrorball trophy in its 11th season. Bristol Palin and her dancing partner Mark Ballas finished third behind runner-ups Kyle Massey and partner Lacey Schwimmer, and winners Grey and Derek Hough.

Even if she did not win, SarahPalin's daughter said she had learned a lot from her experience at the competition.

"Just persevere, have confidence in whatever you do and be willing to go try new things," she said.

"I've grown so much as a person."
