Golden State Warriors beat Oklahoma City Thunder 96-88 in Game 7 on Monday night in the US.

After a back-to-back loss in Game 3 and Game 4 and surviving a 3-1 elimination threat, Golden State Warriors powered on to defeat the Thunder once and for all.

Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the first quarter by five points. They also took the second quarter, but this time, with a sense of agitation as Golden State Warriors tightens the gap at one point. By the third quarter, Steph Curry and the Warriors have warmed up and made another overwhelming comeback by scoring 29 points to Thunder’s 12.

Warriors’ Curry was the star of the Western Conference Game 7. According to Fox Sports, Curry made a record of 36 points. Shooting three-pointers one after another, he led the comeback in the third quarter that made all the difference in the battlefield. Klay Thompson finished with a 21-point contribution to the Warriors’ victory.

While it may not have been enough, Thunder Kevin Durant made a record of 27 points as he led Oklahoma City to an admirable offense.

The Golden State Warriors will be leaving behind the Oklahoma City Thunder to face the Eastern Conference victors Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time in NBA history. Curry and the Warriors will be facing legendary Cavs’ LeBron James, who led his team to the NBA Finals.

The NBA Finals Game 1 will be on June 2 in Oakland, California.
