Music lovers of Australia - here's some good news for you. Sydney and Melbourne will be host to a brand new music festival called "The Plot" in December. Melbourne-based band Miami Horror is confirmed to open the festival.

The festival is organised by the same organizers who are behind the Groovin the Moo festival and it is touted to be the "biggest regional music festival" in Australia. Cattleyard Promotions unveiled The Plot on Facebook on Thursday. The announcement called it the dance festival which will "put the Tron in electric and dance in your pants!"

"Cattleyard Promotions (the crew that brings you Groovin' the Moo) is thrilled to introduce THE PLOT - an exciting new party in Sydney and Melbourne that will put the Tron in electronic and the dance in your pants," the description read. The dates announced are December 14 and 15 in 2013.

Groovin' The Moo has been a huge success since 2005 and featured Matt and Kim, The Bronx, The Kooks, They Might Be Giants and Frightened Rabbit as their line-up for this year's festivals. Groovin' The Moo has also confirmed its expansion to Adelaide. The festival is expected to start on April 25 at the Oakbank Racecourse before heading to Maitland, Canberra, Bendigo, Townsville, and Bunbury.

Miami Horror, which are confirmed to be performing at the new festival, have debuted their album "Illumination" in 2010 with songs "Moon Theory," "I Look to You" and "Holidays."
