Brad Pitt attended the 2015 British motorcycle Grand Prix, or the MotoGP World Championship, with his seven-year-old son Knox on Sunday. The event took place at Silverstone in Northampton, England.

Knox wore noise cancellation headphones as he watched the event, according to Eonline. In the photos released by the entertainment site, Knox can be seen sitting in his father's lap.

For the event, Pitt was dressed in a black shirt and coupled his look with a newsboy hat whereas his son wore a blue jacket. Knox and Pitt also met the winner of the race, Italian racer Valentino Rossi.

Rossi is starring in the documentary film "Hitting the Apex" that Pitt has co-produced. Also the Hollywood actor is part of the film as a narrator. The documentary chronicles the lives of six of the world's fastest motorcycle racers. It opens Sept. 02 in the United Kingdom.

"We're here for Mark Neale's film and he's made a great one, another great one. It's exhilarating. It's really moving," Pitt was quoted as saying at the Grand Prix by Yahoo. "It's got a universal mythological tale to it and we're really proud to get it out there."

Praising the film's director, the 51-year-old actor said that Neale has been working on the documentary for several years. He added that it was "a great excuse to get in the editing room with him and work with him and amazing footage."

Meanwhile, Pitt will also be seen in Angelina Jolie’s third directorial venture, “By The Sea.” The real-life couple is playing an estranged couple in the movie. It opens Nov. 13.
