Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's (Brangelina) Jolie-Pitt & Perrin Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval wine was ranked as the top 84 among the top 100 wines of 2013 in the magazine Wine Spectator.

According to Wine Spectator, the Jolie-Pitt & Perrin Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval wine is fruity with a hint of cream.

"Refined and elegant, offering pure and concentrated flavors of dried red berry, tangerine and melon. The focused finish features flint and spice notes, with a hint of cream. Drink now. 15,000 cases imported," noted Wine Spectator managing editor Kim Marcus (K.M.) in the magazine's list of the Top 100 wines in 2013.

Wine Spectator also said that a single autographed barrel (about 300 bottles) of the Jolie-Pitt Miraval Rose wine was auctioned off for more than $13,000 in Provence for charity.

The Jolie-Pitt & Perrin Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval wine is worth $28. According to a report by the Associated Press published on People, the Jolie-Pitt wine sold out in just five hours after it was made available for sale.

The said wine was produced at the Jolie-Pitt's French estate property, Chateau Miraval. It is the couple's joint venture with well-known winemaker Marc Perrin of Famille Perrin. Perrin makes organic wines in Provence.

The Jolie-Pitt & Perrin Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval wine was previously called Pink Floyd, named after the British band. It was named that way because the band recorded a part of "The Wall" (animated/live-action musical film directed by Alan Parker) in 1982 at the Jolie-Pitt's Chateau Miraval.

Now that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Jolie-Pitt & Perrin Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval wine has been recognised as one of the best wines in the world, its value could increase. This proves to naysayers that Pitt and Jolie are serious and committed to their new joint venture involving wines and vineyards. The Hollywood power couple can add this achievement to their list of achievements which include Brad Pitt's Golden Globe Best Supporting Actor Award for "12 Monkeys" and Angelina Jolie's Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for "Girl, Interrupted" as well as the recent Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 2013 Governors Awards which she received on Nov. 16, 2013 in Hollywood, California.
