Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to work on a project together again. If the reports are true, the married couple is set to star in Angelina’s very own directorial project called “Africa.”

The Wrap reports that Angelina and Brad Pitt might star together in the film called “Africa,” even though they just wrapped filming “By The Sea,” a movie where they played a married couple themselves. “Africa” is another one of Angelina’s directorial works. The biopic, written by Eric Roth, whose notable works include “Forrest Gump,” is rumoured to have plans of starring Brad Pitt as the lead. His role would be Richard Leake, a strong defender of elephants against the illegal activities of poachers in Kenya. The film is going to be set in the 1980s.

Even though the news of them starring together in this new project is yet to be confirmed, Angelina last year already shared to Yahoo News how close to her heart Africa is and how in love she is with Eric’s script. "I've felt a deep connection to Africa and its culture for much of my life, and was taken with Eric's beautiful script about a man drawn into the violent conflict with elephant poachers who emerged with a deeper understanding of man's footprint and a profound sense of responsibility for the world around him," Jolie said.

Africa would be Angelina’s fifth directorial project. Her first one was her 2007 documentary titled “A Place in Time.” Since then, she directed “In The Land of Blood and Honey” in 2011 and ”Unbroken” in 2014. Her fourth project is “By the Sea,” which would be shown this year.

It could be remembered that when Angelina Jolie reflected on how her 2014 went, she already expressed how much she liked working with her husband in a movie. She told Us Weekly that Brad is wonderful to work with on “By the Sea.” She specifically said that it was nice for them to be “just actors together and work hard” in pushing themselves. Last August, she and Brad officially tied the knot in an understated wedding ceremony after almost a decade of being together and six children, bringing their relationship to a whole new level of closeness.
