The much-awaited superbout between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather might finally happen soon, after Freddie Roach revealed that the "right persons" in CBS CEO Les Moonves and Top Rank chief Bob Arum have already commenced talks.

Boxing fans are left to relying on the barbs traded by people in the opposing camp for most of the time, which include tirades from "Pacman" and "Money" themselves. But, it seems like the said revelation could be the "legitimate" spark that everyone has been waiting for.

"I was there, I was the third party. I just listened a lot. But they spoke about what they could do and how to make the fight happen," Roach told the Los Angeles Daily News.

"Moonves said he can deliver Mayweather, and, obviously, Bob said he could deliver Pacquiao."

Mayweather is in contract with Showtime, CBS's subsidiary, insofar as airing rights are concerned, while Pacquiao is tied with HBO, but such mentioned conflict might finally be resolved as Roach bared that the discussions appeared to have ended positively.

"It was a very good meeting. What they said in that meeting, if they can do it, the fight will happen. Very soon. I think next," he added.

"Moonves and Bob walked out to Moonves' car with their arms around each other. The right people are talking about it. I think that makes it a bigger possibility."

The fighting congressman from Saranggani Province, Philippines had reiterated his desire to take on the undefeated American after winning convincingly against Chris Algieri, believing that the fans deserve for such clash to take place, among other reasons.
