Taylor Swift will kill Kim Kardashian West in the box office soon, if a crime thriller book is turned into a film. Hollywood movie studios are said to be bidding for the film rights of “Killing Kardashian,” which depicts the torture and murder of Kanye West’s wife by someone wearing a Taylor mask.

The book, which author John Jetsyn Tache called a satire, describes Kim being tortured and killed by an assailant wearing a Taylor mask. It is apparently soon to become a Hollywood blockbuster as several movie studios are bidding for its film rights.

It opens with the reality TV star hanging from chains in a desert bunker while Kanye is tied to a chair. The masked attacker then cuts off the singer’s fingers and toes with garden shears and fires a blow torch over his wounds.

According to the Daily Star, the tome also includes deaths of other Kardashian/Jenner family members, such as Kourtney being gunned down by police, Khloe being stabbed with a pen, and Caitlyn Jenner being butchered with a meat cleaver.

While the killings in the book seemed so callous and unnecessary, Tache, 56, defended his work, saying it was his revenge for the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” family “ruining” television. “There are people in Hollywood who are livid at what has happened to the industry, thanks to reality TV,” he told the publication. “The Kardashians are killing the dramas, so they need to be killed.”

Critics have called Tache’s work as insensitive, especially that Kim has suffered from anxiety since she was robbed at gunpoint in her rental apartment in Paris in October. She was gagged and bound while the thieves stole about US$10 million (AU$13 million) worth of jewellery.

In an episode of the family’s reality TV show earlier this month, Kim revealed that the incident left her traumatised and wanting to just disappear from the spotlight. She called it one of her “most life-changing experiences.”

Tache’s book also describes Kim being bound, but the author couldn’t care less if scenes in his book are similar to real life. He claimed he wrote them six months before the events in Paris. “Do I feel bad for Kim that she has to relieve the hostage scenario in the book? Of course not.”

It wasn’t mentioned in his interview why he chose a Taylor Swift mask for the killer, but it is likely because of the apparent rift between the Wests and the 37-year-old songstress. Kanye infamously interrupted Taylor’s MTV Video Music Awards speech in 2009 to declare Beyonce as having the “best video of all time.”

In February 2016, Kanye mentioned Taylor in his single, “Famous,” in a not-so-flattering light. Taylor’s camp refuted reports that she knew all along that Kanye was going to mention her in his song and had even given her consent. Kim then released audio of Taylor’s phone conversation with Kanye, which apparently belied Taylor’s claims.
