Unexpected changes fuel more family drama on the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Tuesday, Quinn (Rena Sofer) still can’t wrap her head around the fact that Eric (John McCook) trusted her enough to leave her in charge. Spoilers suggest, however, that the patriarch will soon be awake. This may mean that he’ll regain control over the business and his family.

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) may have mixed emotions over his father’s recovery. While he’ll be expectedly happy that Eric survived the recent health crisis, Ridge may get in hot water for the stunt he pulled. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Oct. 18 installment include Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “B&B,” Steffy is wracked with guilt and decides to make things right with Wyatt. Meanwhile, the Forrester family is stunned after learning about Eric’s health status. The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Oct. 18 episode [watch below]. It features multiple scenes with Steffy, Quinn and Ridge.

On the first scene, Steffy tells someone, “I just wish Wyatt could understand how dangerous Quinn is – dangerous enough for me to end my marriage.” Meanwhile, Quinn revels in Eric’s generosity. “I can’t believe that I have control over everything,” she says. “Eric left me in control.” Elsewhere, Ridge talks to his father, whose health suddenly improves. “I don’t know what Quinn has told you,” Ridge opens. “But just to be clear – I did what I did to protect you.”

"The Bold and the Beautiful" recap

In the previous episode, Brooke blasts at Ridge for trying to get away with stealing Quinn’s power-of-attorney. Ridge recognised his mistake, but insisted that it was a desperate move. RJ suddenly arrived and asked for a selfie with his parents. When Brooke left, RJ turned to his father and lashed out at him for letting Brooke go to Bill. The young man then ordered his father to put their family back together.

Elsewhere, Katie turned up at Spencer Publications to meet with her ex-husband. This was their first encounter since their messy divorce. Katie mocks him for still not being married with Brooke and for letting a teenager get in the way of his plans. When Katie left, Brooke arrived and discussed about RJ. Brooke reckoned RJ still needs time to warm up to the idea of their upcoming wedding, but Bill said he's had enough of being patient. He won't let a teenager control his life, he vowed.
