On Friday’s episode of "The Bold and the Beautiful," the love triangle of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Liam (Scott Clifton) and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) continues to heat up. Despite being rejected numerous times, Ivy will let nothing stop her from expressing her feelings towards Liam.

The upcoming episode will also feature Wyatt (Darin Brooks), Zende (Rome Flynn) and Nicole (Reign Edwards).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s episode of the "Bold and the Beautiful," Nicole will learn that her relationship problems with Zende are not just stemming from the effects of her pregnancy. Elsewhere, Steffy continues to turn to Wyatt for comfort as she waits for Liam to contact her.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Jan. 8 episode. It features three scenes with Ivy, Steffy and Liam.

In the first scene, Ivy and Liam will still be shown inside the plane. “I need you to know that no matter where we are, or how much distance there is between us, I will always love you,” Ivy says.

Steffy, who will be seen in the next part of the video, may have predicted Ivy’s actions. “She always plays the victim,” Steffy complains. She goes on by saying that Ivy may use recent events as the last opportunity to take Liam back.

Liam, on the other hand, seems unfazed with Ivy’s confession. He tells Ivy that she’ll find someone who’s going to be perfect for her someday.

The Jan. 8 episode takes off from scenes on Thursday, which showed Steffy’s mixed reactions about Liam’s disappearing act. On one hand, she continued to be worried about his whereabouts. However, she also got mad at Liam because he’s been ignoring her messages.

Meanwhile, Liam was also anxious that she couldn’t reach Steffy who's in transit on a flight to Australia. Ivy told him to think more carefully about his plans to marry Steffy, but Liam said there’s no need to reconsider anything. He said he just wants to apologise to Steffy for what he said out of anger.

Finally, Liam got the opportunity to call Steffy when the plane landed. He used Ivy’s phone to inform Steffy that he can’t come home. Steffy asked where he was, to which Liam replied that he was in Australia with Ivy. Before he could explain further, Steffy hung up the phone and told Wyatt that this could only mean one thing. Amidst Steffy’s anguish, Wyatt continued to be there to provide consolation and reassurance to her, just like what Quinn advised.
