‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Jan. 3: Katie gets closer with Quinn; Wyatt and Liam have an explosive confrontation
Fans of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”) are in for quite an exciting episode as the long-running soap welcomes another year. On Tuesday, Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) shocking move intensifies the rivalry between Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks). The two face off as they fight over Steffy’s love, with both men refusing to give her up.
On the other hand, Katie (Heather Tom) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) find themselves in a completely different situation. The two spend time by engaging into a girl talk, and it looks like a friendship is blooming between the two. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Jan. 3 installment include Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “B&B,” Liam informs his brother that he’ll do everything to make sure Steffy remains his. Meanwhile, Quinn is having a difficult time being faithful with Eric, as she finds herself falling for Ridge.
The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Jan. 3 episode [watch below]. It features multiple scenes with Wyatt, Liam, Quinn, Katie and Steffy.
On the first scene, Wyatt reminds Liam that Steffy still has a wedding ring tattooed on her finger. Liam starts to argue, but Wyatt cuts him off. “Yes it’s faint, I know that,” Wyatt says. “But it’s still there. Just like my marriage is.”
However, Steffy sets Wyatt straight. “This situation is complicated enough,” she tells him. “I need you to understand why I’m doing this. It’s temporary. My relationship with Liam hasn’t changed.”
Elsewhere, Quinn gushes to Katie, “I never thought I’d had a chance with a man like Eric.” Katie replies, “And now you’re his wife.”

On Monday, Steffy and Liam argue about Eric and the way he’s getting in the middle of their relationship. Liam reckoned Steffy has already made up her mind and that Eric has already influenced her decision. Liam insisted that Quinn’s plan of separating them is working. Later, Eric called Steffy to check if she’s following his advice. He asked her to put him on speakerphone so he could also talk to Liam. Eric said Steffy and Liam should respect Wyatt and the institution of marriage. To do this, Steffy must move out of Liam’s home.
Liam screamed at Eric, arguing that Quinn is manipulating him. Eric put the phone down, leaving Liam utterly frustrated. Steffy then dropped the bombshell: she has decided to move out and resume their relationship once the divorce is final. She kissed Liam, who looked devastated. Steffy apologised and left. Later, Liam called Ridge to inform him that Steffy moved out. Liam said they have to do something about Quinn, and Ridge replied that he’s on it. Ridge assured Liam that he’d risk his relationship with Eric for the benefit of Forrester Creations. “That woman has to go,” Ridge said. He then made a move – instead of directly flirting with Quinn, he made himself more irresistible to her.
