‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Jan. 18: Quinn implores Ridge to confess about their kiss; Liam gives Steffy an ultimatum

A homecoming ushers in a shocking turnaround on the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Wednesday, everyone is caught off-guard when Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) return with a completely different behaviour toward each other. Nobody knows what caused the change, but Quinn refuses to hide their secret any longer.

She wants Ridge to come clean to Eric (John McCook) about their kiss, but spoilers suggest that Ridge will insist to keep the incident between them. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” characters who will figure prominently on the Jan. 18 installment include Katie (Heather Tom), Thomas (Pierson Fode), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Liam (Scott Clifton).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s episode of “B&B,” the loved ones of Ridge and Quinn are surprised to see the two being close and friendly with each other. Liam, on the other hand, stands his ground concerning the future of their relationship.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Jan. 18 episode. [Watch below.] It features scenes with Wyatt, Eric, Ridge and Quinn.

On the first scene, Wyatt learns that Quinn is back from San Francisco. “She and Ridge have a lot to fill us in on,” he says. Later, Wyatt tells Eric, “We have unintentionally put Steffy right back in the middle of everything and that’s not fair.”

Ridge, meanwhile, becomes defensive about his newfound friendship with Quinn. “I’m just acknowledging her contributions to the company,” he insists. “Is that okay with everybody?” Afterwards, Quinn orders him, “As soon as you leave the office, you’re going to go to your father and you’re going to tell him what happened between you and me in San Francisco.”

On Tuesday, Quinn opened up to Ridge and talked about how the previous men in her life disrespected and used her then tossed her aside. Ridge commented that he’s nothing like Bill, but Quinn said they’re exactly alike, considering Ridge’s latest plan. She said Eric is the first man to respect her and she won’t give that up. Quinn turned emotional as she recounted her past, raising Wyatt as she struggled financially. Ridge understood where she’s coming from, but argued that she went too far. Quinn insisted that she hates her old self and everything changed when Eric came to her life. Ridge seemed to soften and offered her some comfort. The two embraced and ended up kissing.

Elsewhere, Katie expressed her worries about being alone with Eric while his wife is out of town. He told her that there’s nothing to worry – Quinn trusts him as much as he trusts her. Katie became more relaxed and they shared a joke about Ridge and Quinn being in San Francisco. Eric wished for some sort of breakthrough between his wife and son.
