‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Aug 23: Thomas identifies who’s the threat to Steffy’s happiness; Wyatt assures his wife where his loyalty lies
It’s a daunting fight for love and for what’s right on the next episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Tuesday, Thomas (Pierson Fode) becomes protective of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and complains about her husband’s inability to keep her away from the one person that makes her unhappy and anxious.
Meanwhile, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) shuns his mother in his attempt to prevent Steffy from leaving him. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Aug.23 installment include Quinn (Rena Sofer), Eric (John McCook), Liam (Scott Clifton) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “B&B,” Thomas sides with Liam in terms of the man Steffy should end up with. Meanwhile, Wyatt takes a risky action after Steffy's ultimatum.
The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Aug.23 episode. It features multiple scenes with Thomas, Liam, Wyatt and Steffy.
On the first scene, Wyatt refuses to let his wife leave him. “I won’t let you walk out that door,” he says. Steffy, on the other hand, grimly tells him, “I can’t risk Quinn being in my life.” Wyatt tries to assure her of his priorities. “I’m not Quinn Fuller’s son right now,” he replies. “I am your husband. I am 100 per cent dedicated to you.”
Meanwhile, Thomas rants to Liam about his brother-in-law. “Wyatt was supposed to keep his mother out of their lives and now Quinn’s moving in with my granddad,” Thomas says. “Quinn is a threat to my sister’s happiness.”

In the previous episode, Ridge and Brooke discussed about Eric’s love life and how it gravely affected the whole family, especially Steffy. Brooke showed support for Ridge’s mission to end Eric’s relationship with Quinn. Meanwhile, Steffy and Quinn were still in a heated confrontation that ended with Steffy threatening to leave Wyatt that night. Later, Quinn shared with Eric about Steffy’s warning. While Eric didn’t want to inflict toward his granddaughter, he’s happy that Quinn didn’t give in. Ridge walked in the Forrester mansion and an argument ensued between him and his father. Eric reminded Ridge that he’s his father, not his child. He also told Ridge that he won’t be telling him how to live his life.
Steffy arrived at the beach house and told Wyatt about her argument with his mother. She also admitted about the ultimatum she gave Quinn. Wyatt tried to defend himself, but Steffy whined about his inability to control his mother. She cried, “You’ve done nothing!” Wyatt begged for another chance. “Just don’t leave,” he pleaded his wife.
