Things continue to heat up on “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”) this week. For one, Steffy Forrester, played by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, will talk to her brother about Aly’s (Ashlyn Pearce) death. Previously, she was already feeling very uncomfortable, while Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) continues to hover and seems to be getting more insightful.

Soap Opera Story reveals that Steffy needs to confide with someone and she will pick her brother Thomas, portrayed by Pierson Fodé. Steffy will talk to Thomas about the events on the night that Aly died. The siblings will agree that the story is best kept a secret between the two of them. However, Steffy will realise that Ivy is a threat to their secret remaining hidden.

It could explain why Steffy will suggest to Liam, played by Scott Clifton, that Ivy should lose her job at Forrester Creations. Liam might attempt to fight for his ex-girlfriend or he might be completely submissive to Steffy. While Steffy and Liam talk about ending Ivy’s employment, Ivy will also decide that she wants to have a bigger role at the company. She wants to become the new face of Forrester Creations.

Brooke, played by Katherine Kelly Lang and Eric Forrester (John McCook) will wonder about Julius’ (Obba Babatundé), sincerity in accepting Maya’s (Karla Mosley) new life. Bill (Don Diamont) will apologise to Maya and Rick (Jacob Young). On her wedding day, Maya will overhear a conversation between her parents, which will bring her to tears. Her mother clearly supports her, but her father does not. Maya initially believed that she was getting her family back, but the pain will set in again. Maya’s wedding day might also have some surprises when she feels that she must confront one of the guests. Meanwhile, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) will be staying in Los Angeles for some time due to family issues. Her loved ones will request for her to stay longer.

Soaps.sheknows.com writes that Nicole and Maya’s relationship as sisters will become stronger. Nicole’s bond with Zende (Rome Flynn) will also deepen. As for Wyatt (Darin Brooks), he will start to pursue Ivy. Plus, Bill and Katie (Heather Tom) will focus on the positive areas in their lives. The upcoming “B&B” episodes will determine the fate of Ivy’s employment and whether Steffy and Thomas’s secret will stay hidden for long. Bridget (Ashley Jones) may also stir up some relationship drama next week.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs on CBS at 1:30 p.m. and on POP at 6:30 p.m.
