As storylines continue to become exciting on “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”), fans are gearing up for the long-running soap’s 30th anniversary, which happens in March. To celebrate three decades of dominating the small screen, some “B&B” cast members have travelled all the way to Australia and filmed multiple episodes there.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” stars John McCook, (Eric), Rena Sofer (Quinn), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Don Diamont (Bill), Scott Clifton (Liam) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) were spotted down under last Feb. 12 to 17, according to Daytime Confidential. They were joined by Australian actress Ashleigh Brewer, who plays Ivy in the soap. Pierson Fode (Thomas) and Courtney Hope (Sally) also followed their co-stars to Australia.

It has been 10 years since “B&B” last visited Australia during the daytime series’ 20th anniversary. Brad Bell, the soap’s executive producer and head writer, provided a glimpse of what’s in store for fans. “Collaborating with Qantas, Network TEN and CBS, viewers will witness romance, high style, jaw-dropping twists, harrowing stunts and major cliffhangers, all hallmarks of ‘Bold and Beautiful,’” he said as quoted by Daytime Confidential.

Soaps.com reports that some Aussie celebrities are expected to make special appearances in the upcoming episodes, including “MasterChef Australia” judge Matt Preston, Channel 10 personalities Amanda Keller, Ita Buttrose, David 'Robbo' Robinson, as well as WS FM presenter Brendan Jones.

The episodes shot in Australia will reportedly include Steffy and Liam’s much-awaited wedding. Fans will finally be able to breathe a sigh of relief, considering the pair’s tumultuous relationship. The latest challenge they had to hurdle was Steffy’s short-lived marriage to Wyatt and Liam’s odd relationship with Quinn. Followers of the soap would remember that Wyatt had a hard time accepting Steffy’s decision, fighting for her until he realised that she really loves Liam and not him.

“B&B” stars took to Instagram to share their photos in Australia. Rena posted a series of images documenting their trip. In one photo, she took a selfie with John, while Jacqueline and Scott were at the back. “The best tv husband ever!! I love you,” she wrote. Heather, on the other hand, shared behind-the-scene shots on her Instagram account.

Scott and Pierson posted selfies with some kangaroos, while Jacqueline uploaded a photo while on-board the plane with her mum. “Sleep over time! #qantas you have been STELLAR! What a phenomenal airline! Fly Qantas,” she captioned the picture. Meanwhile, Ashleigh and Courtney shared the cast’s group photos on their respective Instagram accounts.

The soap’s 30th anniversary is on March 23 and the episodes shot in Australia are expected to air around that time in the US and around May in Australia. Find out what happens next on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” which airs every weekday on CBS at 1:30 p.m. It also airs every weekday at 7:30 a.m. on the TEN Channel in Australia.
