Blue Bloods” returns this week with another episode that promises to deliver intense action and drama, titled “Good Cop Bad Cop.” Frank (Tom Selleck) finds himself under fire when he decides to discipline an ill-mannered police officer. It seems that his actions won’t sit well with his colleagues and his questions will consequently be questioned.

Meanwhile, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) feels extremely bothered when someone gets attacked at her own home. "Goodfellas" actress Suzanne Shepherd has signed up as a guest star in the show’s season 7 episode 2 to play the role of Lucille Abetemarco. The upcoming installment will also feature other “Blue Bloods” cast members including, Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Jamie (Will Estes), Henry (Len Cariou), Linda (Amy Carlson), Nicky (Sami Gayle), Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) and Officer Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray).

According to TV Guide, Friday’s episode centres on Frank, as his faces a tricky situation after reprimanding a disrespectful cop. Meanwhile, Erin helps out Anthony, who decides to take a personal case into his own hands. Elsewhere, Danny and Baez delve into the death of an elderly woman who got killed by a stray bullet in her home.

CBS has posted a sneak peek of the Sept. 30 episode of “Blue Bloods” on its official site. In the trailer, Danny shares that an innocent woman gets shot by a stray bullet. “New York’s finest,” pertaining to Frank, also defends his actions after he gets in trouble for something he thought was just proper.

“Good Cop Bad Cop” is directed by Kellie Cyrus and written by Brian Burns.
