'Blue Bloods' Season 7 Episode 12 spoilers: ‘Not Fade Away’ centres on Jamie and Eddie’s complicated relationship, Danny is caught in the crossfire

“Blue Bloods” is definitely back on Friday, and the hit police drama promises to deliver another episode to keep its viewers on the edge of their seats. On season 7 episode 12, titled “Not Fade Away,” fans of Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) are in for a treat as the upcoming instalment focuses on their tumultuous affair.

Spoilers suggest that the two will witness an intense lovers’ tiff between two other police officers. This leads them to take a closer look at their own relationship. Followers of the reluctant couple have to see whether Jamie and Eddie decide to take things to a whole new level, or keep their relationship on a professional level.

Other “Blue Bloods” characters who will appear prominently on the Jan. 13 run include Frank (Tom Selleck), Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Det Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez), Henry (Len Cariou), Linda (Amy Carlson) and Nicky (Sami Gayle).

According to TV Guide, Friday’s episode also features Danny, who takes on a sideline as a bodyguard of an ex-convict. It turns out that his client was wrongly imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. Danny decides to leverage on his new job to look for the real culprit. Meanwhile, Frank is caught off-guard when Lt Gormley’s (Robert Clohessy) wife requests for her husband’s promotion.

CBS posted a sneak peek of the Jan. 13 episode of “Blue Bloods” on its official site. In the trailer, Frank commends someone, most probably Lt Gromley. “I really do appreciate the hard work and dedication you put into the job,” Frank says. Meanwhile, a former inmate seeks Danny’s help to settle the score. The ex-convict offers to pay Danny US$10,000 (AU$13,000) to watch his back for two days.

“Not Fade Away” is directed by Robert Harmon and written by Kevin Wade and Blair Singer.
