Excitement on the release of “Bloodline” Season 2 is at its peak. Fans are in for more thrilling storylines and unravelled secrets on the Netflix original series.

Sissy Spacek is part of the recurring cast will as Sally Rayburn. In a podcast interview, she described the upcoming and the matriarchal character that she plays.

The veteran actress shares that the show’s writers are fabulously talented by digging deep into the characters. The family that the show focuses on seems to be an ideal happy one. However, it is known from Season 1 that there are cracks in their relationship. As the show progresses into the second season, all those tiny little lies and dark secrets will be revealed. The characters will unravel further and they would be at each other’s throats, Parade reports.

The Season 2 trailer shows John (Kyle Chandler) being haunted by his brother Danny (Ben Mendelsohn). In the first season, Danny was murdered by his own family. In the video, Danny’s ghost asks John if he did the right thing and John responds by saying he does not know. The family matriarch will also experience grief, telling them that she does not want her children to give her the whole story.

Season two will feature Danny’s secret son, Nolan Rayburn (Owen Teague), will resurface. Nolan did not appear in the first season until the final episode. He would ask his uncle John, “Are you afraid of me?” There are also two more characters from Danny’s past. They are OzzyDelveccio (John Leguizamo) and Evangeline Radosevich (Andrea Riseborough), who will be conspiring against the family. They plan on making the Rayburn family pay for the debts Danny left behind.

Season 2 will also highlight the breakdown of the Rayburn family. Various emotions leaning towards anger, violence and grief will be showcased. Another interesting plot line will be John’s election as the town’s sheriff. He will be given this new position and power, and this will change the family dynamics.
