Blizzard’s hit massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) “World of Warcraft” has been one of the most prominent names not only in its genre but also in video gaming in general. The game is set to expand soon with “Legion,” but the title's biggest addition comes in the form of an all-new class for players.

The new Demon Hunter class will join the ranks of “World of Warcraft,” making it the 12th class available in the game. Fans who know the lore of “World of Warcraft” should be familiar with the most famous Demon Hunter in the game, the antagonist Illidan Stormrage. Illidan will of course be making an appearance to those who will use the Demon Hunter class.

According to Polygon, Illidan will be part of the Demon Hunter’s playthrough from the get-go. He will be part of the intro, as he will lead a group of demon hunters, including the player, through a land rampant with demons. The planet the players will begin their journey in is called Mardum, which in “World of Warcraft” lore is a place where demons are imprisoned.

The players will journey through the planet while going against its inhabitants. They’ll be able to use Legion weapons as well as steal the powers of the demons. As the players progress, they will be able to unlock new abilities.

Upon starting as Demon Hunters, the level of the player will be set at 98 and will end the intro at level 100. At the end of the intro, players will be given access to an epic mount, the felsaber.

The story of the intro will end with Illidan and the other Demon Hunters being ultimately beaten by the demons. However, with the beginning of the Legion expansion, Illidan and the Demon Hunters will be freed by the Horde and the Alliance. Once freed, the players will then start their journey to Azeroth.
