CarterMatt writes that it would be very difficult thinking of Jane (Jaimie Alexander) leaving the FBI, since the whole show is basically about her working with the team. In Episode 14, titled “Rules in Defiance,” Jane will share that she is considering exiting the FBI.

In the previous episodes, Jane met with her ex-boyfriend Oscar (Francois Arnaud), who told her that should not fully trust the FBI. Since her reunion with Oscar, Jane did her best to maintain distance from FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), as well as his team. However, her attempts proved to be unsuccessful, since they always work on various cases together.

Before, a mole was also providing Chief Inspector Fischer (John Hodgman) some details that could threaten Jane and other members of her group. One of the information given by the mole involved witnessing the death of Thomas Carter (Michael Gaston). This further caused Jane to become concerned about her future with the agency.

In the upcoming episode, Jane will let Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) know that she no longer wants to work with the team. Patterson will let everyone know about the new case that involves the disappearance of women in and around the city mysteriously. There will be a hit coming from a tattoo data base. Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) will also assume another role as she tries to get more information about a death row case. She will most likely be putting herself at risk.

A later scene in the trailer showed Zapata getting busted by an unknown person. She was injected on her neck with a drug, causing her to pass out. Weller’s team acquired the CCTV footage and discovered that Zapata was missing. To find her again, the team have to get some clues from Jane’s tattoos. When the team found some information that might lead to Zapata, they found what appeared to be a hideout, although it was already burning.

Blindspot” Season 1 Episode 14 will air on Mar. 21 on NBC.
