“The Blacklist” has been airing for quite some time now, but there are some mysteries that have been bothering viewers since the show debuted. One of the most prominent mysteries surrounds Jennifer Reddington’s identity. Who exactly is she? She could be considered as the other daughter of Raymond Reddington, whom viewers do not hear about as much. It could also be possible that she is not related to him by blood. She could be one of those characters who just fell off the radar and fans will never get to see in the show again.

There are dozens of things fans do not know about this character, and this is what has been bothering a lot of viewers over the summer, notes Cartermatt. All that's known is that she is supposedly the child of Red and Carla, but she fell off the radar years ago.

There were references to her during the first season, but her presence was more emphasised in Season 2 where she became the subject of more conversations. Eventually, Carla admitted to Red that she had no idea where Jennifer was at that certain point. She only knew she would come for her someday. Wherever she is, she has been separated from Red even before the show started.

Viewers also noticed that Red has not been that preoccupied with protecting her as he has been with Liz Keen. This is one of the biggest mysteries surrounding such character. It also strengthens the theory that they are not blood-related.

Other theories say she could rise up as the new big baddie in the future. She could be someone that viewers have already met somewhere along the way, or she could turn out as someone significant later on. "The Blacklist" season 5 will have 22 episodes and returns around September.
