Recently, CEO John Chen announced the success of the first phase of Blackberry's 2-year turnaround plan which includes cost cutting measures and asset sales. With the progress of the first phase, the company is confident that the second phase will be as bright, CNET reports.

The company's mission to win back Blackberry fans and lure new users is still in the works. Despite the reign of trendy smartphones from rivals like iPhone and Samsung, BlackBerry CEO still believes that there is still a market for the classic phone that made its mark sometime in 2008 and its other new line of devices.

Now, Blackberry is looking at big clients like corporations and government agencies to play integral parts in the company's turnaround plan. In an event in San Francisco, the Canadian tech company will outline potential tie-ups with carriers and service providers that will help co -market the Blackberry Enterprise platform or otherwise known as BES 12, Reuters reports.

Apparently, analysts and investors will be monitoring the company's sales growth with the lead of its CEO John Chen. Blackberry's growth will largely depend on the success of the BES 12. This system will allow large organizations to manage and secure not just the company's devices on their internal networks but devices that run on competitors' platforms like Google's Android, Microsoft's Windows and Apple's iOS.

Blackberry has 3.4 million clients who provisionally signed up for the BES 12 who are expected to become potential paying clients next year. But in spite of the impressive number of supporters, analysts are still cautious given the fact that the re-emerging company is battling a crowded arena.

On separate news from Bloomberg, still in its quest for success, CEO Chen confirmed his meeting with Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun and Lenovo's head Yang Yuanqing. These meeting are obvious attempts from Blackberry to return to growth by partnering with China's two largest smartphone vendors.

Finally, the CEO said that they are focused in making the company profitable again. He was even caught saying that once they do profit they will make sure not to lose money ever again.
