“Black Sails” Season 3 has won some high praise by the critics, and Starz has released a new video to showcase some of the comments the show has been getting. The video teases some of the scenes from the episodes that have already aired and also scenes from future episodes.

Perhaps the most popular scene of the show from the episodes that have aired so far is the storm scene. The TV series won praise for the action packed episodes and for pushing the envelope on what a TV series can do.

The video shows the rivalry between Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) and Captain Flint (Toby Stephens). Blackbeard recently took to piracy again and returned to Nassau. Once on the island, Blackbeard discovered that the leadership positions have been filled by Flint, Vane (Zach McGowan) and Rackham (Toby Schmitz).

“Either you are unkillable…or way over due,” Blackbeard tells Flint in the video. The video teases a sword fight between the two characters on a beach. There are also other action sequences featured in the video involving British soldiers.

While the British threatened to invade Nassau in “Black Sails” Season 3, Flint was stranded in the middle of the ocean. Flint had to make some difficult decisions in order to try and save the crew from the predicament that they were in.

England has sent Woodes Rogers (Luke Roberts) as the next governor of the Bahamas, under the condition that he subdues the pirates of Nassau and governs the island. Woodes will enlist the support of someone who knows the island inside out and can help him take on the pirates.

The first three episodes of “Black Sails” Season 3 have already aired. The plot teases shifting alliances and betrayals, as the pirates prepare to take on the English fleet. There are also growing tensions between Flint and John Silver (Luke Arnold).
