Big Winners at the 2012 People's Choice Awards (Music)

People's Choice Awards will always remain to be one of the best events that can ever get the kick off of the New Year going. And when it comes to the music nominees, it becomes such a great fulfilment to win knowing that they were not judged by a secret group of experts or critics; but by the result of who the masses or the majority prefer.

In short, it would make you feel qw prestigious all at the same time as attending your homecoming party in school and staying long for the night just to know who would end up as king and queen.

The artists who represent the music industry in this year's said event represent a wide array of genre from country, rock and pop; and what's great about it is that everyone is supported by major labels in the field.

The very first performance of the night was delivered by Demi Lovato who also ended up as the winner for the Favourite Pop Star category. She thanked most of her fans over at twitter and to whom she dedicated also her award for the night.

Country music icon Faith Hill delivered another performance delivered in the Nokia Theatre.

This year's 38^th Annual People's Choice Awards was hosted by 'The Big Bang Theory's' Kaley Cuoco while last year's show was hosted by Queen Latifah.

What makes the People's Choice Awards more entertaining than the Golden Globes, the Academy Awards of the Grammys, is the opportunity it gives to fans to get a seat inside the venue and witness their favourite stars and artists up close.
