Beyoncé suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction during an enthusiastic musical performance at the Global Citizen festival at the weekend. While preforming with her husband Jay Z, Beyoncé's top burst open to reveal her skin coloured bra. The "Halo" singer quickly placed her hand on her bra to hide the fashion faux paus from the audience, according to the reports by TVNz.

She later started jumping on the stage and accidently showed a lot more than cleavage, according to further reports by Hollywoodlife. Reportedly, Beyoncé's performance came as a surprise as only Jay Z was expected to perform in New York on Sept 27. However, Beyonce stepped in to add to the performance of "Holy Grail" and "Forever Young" alongside Jay Z.

"Change only takes place when and where there is action. I'm joining the 2014 Global Citizen Festival because I believe through actions, whether it be by raising awareness, getting involved or educating ourselves, the goal to end extreme poverty by 2030 is possible," said Jay Z, according to the website.

Jay Z and Beyonce performed together soon after ending their "On The Run" tour in France. The Global Citizen festival was hosted by Hugh Jackman. Other artists who performed include Sting, No Doubt, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, fun., The Roots and Tiesta.
