Revel on inspiration with these fresh runway looks from some of the best resort wear designers on the planet.

The first three days of the Sao Paulo Fashion Week were enough to showcase delightful summer pieces that will look great on any type of woman. The runway events showed flowing silhouettes, striking prints and bold colors, with fresh new accessories to go with all the flawless looks.

Designer Alexandre Herchcovich took a milder tone with his collection, proving that simple hues and cuts will always be fashionable. Mirroring some of the darker pieces of Givenchy's Resort 2012 collection, Herchcovich envisions edgy and adventurous summer nights filled with overcoats and dark dresses. Fashion house Cori played with petal-like draping on skirts, dresses and some of the sleeves. The prints on Cori's collection are dominated by stripes and fading hues, while the custom accessories are on the earthy, neutral side. Famous brand Colcci rejuvenated the trend of sailor stripes, with quirky jumpsuits perfect for summer outings or parties.

Movimento showcased a fun and jittery swimwear collection, with colors that will brighten the mood for a day at the beach. Surfing this summer? The innovatively-cut swimsuits of the brand have gentle metallic and flat pastels and dainty floral prints, the right kind of attire for hitting the waves. Huis Clos presented breathtaking ready-to-wear options, with oversized puff sleeved shirts, pencil skirts, rider pants, wide belts, tassels and distressed booties. Iodice gave a glamorous and princess-like aura from their soft and silky pieces, with bold silver and gold plated necklaces to add the season's shimmer.

The Sao Paulo Fashion Week will run until Saturday, June 18.
