Best Buy will be the first national retailer for the Apple Watch in the US other than Apple stores. The retailer will start selling Apple’s wearable from August 7 and this will help Apple in making its product available to more customers, according to reports.

According to a report on PC World, Apple Watch will first reach over 100 stores of Best Buy and on its online store BestBuy.com. The retailer also said the Apple Watch will reach an additional 200 stores in time for holiday shopping. Best Buy customers can get their hands on 16 models of the Apple Watch, which includes the Sport and Watch models in both 38 mm and 42 mm sizes, besides additional accessories like watch bands, stands, chargers and screen shields.

“The Apple Watch is a big addition to our stores and website, and we know our customers want it,” said Jason Bonfig, senior category officer at Best Buy. “We are excited to bring the Apple Watch to more consumers, especially with the holidays coming up.”

Though Apple has not revealed the exact sales numbers of Apple Watch in its Q3 earnings report, a research by an independent market research firm indicates that majority of Apple Watch users are ‘satisfied’ with the product. Meanwhile, Strategy Analytics have come up with numbers, which reveal that Apple Watch has grabbed a dominant 75 percent in the smartwatch market. According to the research firm, global smartwatch shipments grew 457 percent annually to hit a record 5 million units in Q2 2015.

Recently, Best Buy had offered attractive deals on Asus ZenPad S 8.0, Ubuntu version of Intel Compute Stick, Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Apple MacBook Pro and Air laptops and Moto 360 smartwatch. Apple enthusiasts had to wait for a long time to get their hands on Apple Watch. Owing to limited stock and high demand of the smartwatch, Apple could not make the Apple Watch available in its stores at the initial stages.
