"Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch will soon become a father to his first child with fiancéé Sophie Hunter. The actor is clearly excited to welcome his bundle of joy; however, he is yet to know the sex of the child. He recently had a hearty chat with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and shared his enthusiasm about the future Cumberbatch baby. The 38-year-old actor also spoke about his female admirers and how he gets uncomfortable with the term Cumberbitches, the name of his female fan club.

On Wednesday, when Ellen asked the actor whether the future baby is a girl or boy, he said, "We're gonna have some kind of baby." He also discussed some potential baby names with Ellen, saying that he has to be very particular when it comes to his baby's name. The dad-to-be apparently wants the name of his baby to gel well with his surname Cumberbatch. Ellen also suggested a few baby names including Carl, Ingelburg and Glockenspiel.

"The Imitation Game" actor was also quizzed about his female fans. He said that at the outset, he had a problem with the name Cumberbitches. He felt that the term was against feminism and women empowerment. "It's like squeezing a confession out of me to actually say that word. I kind of squirm a little bit about it," he added, as reported by E Online. However, his fans told him that they are just having fun and they don't mean "any harm to feminism."

Meanwhile, Ellen spoke about the actor's photobombing enthusiasm, People reports. She was keen to know about the photo of Meryl Streep from the recently concluded Golden Globe Awards, where Cumberbatch was seen jumping in the background. The actor defended himself by saying that the guy in the picture is not him and is a cardboard cutout. However, Ellen said that she knows it was him because he has become a photo bombing expert. The British heartthrob has been hotly tipped for the upcoming Oscar awards. He is being praised for his role of WWII code-breaker Alan Turing in "The Imitation Game." He was also nominated for the same film in The Best Actor category at the Golden Globes but lost to Eddie Redmayne.
