Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may have decided to end their marriage, but the two stars are still one unit when it comes to their children.

The former Hollywood couple are again setting aside their differences to provide their children a happy Christmas this year. According to E News, Affleck and Garner will be spending the festive holiday together with their three children, namely Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. A source told E News that this Christmas will see them “together as a family.”

"They continue to put the kids first and spend time with each other for the sake of their children,” the source explained.

The two stars have remained amicable since announcing their separation in June. Since then, Affleck and Garner have been spotted enjoying family outings together with their children. For the upcoming holidays, the family will be travelling to Montano to enjoy a white Christmas, another insider shared with E News.

A source previously mentioned to E News that when it comes to their children, Affleck and Garner “are a unit.” "They are all about the kids and making sure they are okay. They are committed to parenting together," the source added.

In other news, one of Affleck’s highly anticipated movie projects is the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” In the film, the “Argo” actor plays Batman/Bruce Wayne. In an interview with French magazine Studio Cine Live, Affleck revealed that his version of Batman will be different from Christian Bale’s take in Christopher Nolan’s "Dark Knight," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Christopher Nolan used his Batman to tell a finite story,” he teased. “My version is different, but remains faithful to the Batman mythology and all the themes associated with it. Nolan’s Batman isn’t part of a universe where other superheroes exist as well. Here — because we’re working towards the Justice League — there’s Superman, and it’s a world populated with super beings. This situation generates an altogether new reality."

Affleck also shared that his version of Bruce Wayne in the upcoming movie will show more of the character’s “billionaire playboy side” in which he “courts many women, owns many cars, and parties a lot.” The actor explained that his character’s playboy lifestyle was a “way to fill the void in his soul.”

If the previous Batman characters showed a hero who was on a “straightforward search for justice,” Affleck stated that in his upcoming movie, “Batman’s reasoning is clouded by frustration, bitterness and anger."

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released in March 2016.
