Failed to get a ticket to London for the Royal wedding? Not to worry for the much anticipated nuptial of Prince William to Kate Middleton will be aired live and BBC will be your eyes and ears that will keep you on the loop on the events at Westminster Abbey on April 29.

BBC has officially announced today that it will broadcast live footage of the big day and it will be available for everyone to see in many countries around the world.

Citing the statement sent to Hollywood Reporter by BBC, People.com noted the network’s promise of an ‘authentic British take’ on all of the big day’s events.

The statement also announced, said People.com, that the day’s coverage will be anchored by BBC’s senior news anchor, Huw Edwards.

Through Edwards, the public can take a peek on various points along the wedding route that only BBC can deliver having exclusive access to most of the day’s activities. The network said People.com, also promises a ‘fleet of experts and commentators’ who will be joining Ewards on April 29.

“The Royal Wedding provides a special opportunity to bring together our local channels around the world for a truly global viewing event,” Jana Bennett, President of Worldwide Networks and Global iPlayer was quoted as saying by the Hollywood Reporter.

Everyone from the United States can tune in for the live coverage on BBC America. But those in Asia, India, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East should stay glued to BBC Entertainment to keep updated on the so called “Wedding of the Century".
