Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger opted to spend his winter break in Australia to show support for Serbian tennis star Ana Ivanovic. Schweinsteiger has reportedly flown Down Under to watch Ana Ivanovic as she gets ready for the upcoming 2015 tennis season.

Pictures of Schweinsteiger watching Ivanovic during a training session at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne were shared on various social networking Web sites. The pictures showed an interesting spectator, who was sitting on a chair courtside. It was the 30-year-old German footballer who was dressed casual in a white shirt and a pair of blue trousers. In one photo, Schweinsteiger appeared to be taking snaps while the stunning Serbian athlete trains. Another photo showed Ivanovic joining Schweinsteiger in the bench. The pair had a grin on their faces.

Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic have been trying to keep their romance on a low profile since they were first spotted holding hands in New York City in September. The pair's first meeting led to more dates, one after the other. Just recently, Schweinsteiger has flown to Serbia to celebrate Ivanovic's 27th birthday. He arrived in Belgrade via private jet on the eve of Ivanovic's birthday on Nov. 6. He had a team of security to stave off the paparazzi, but some media were still able to snap pictures of the couple.

Ivanovic is currently getting ready for his first tournament at the 2015 Brisbane International. The current World number five said she is excited to play in Brisbane again since 2012.

"I've had some dramatic matches in Brisbane, the field is always strong and the fans make it a lot of fun," Ivanovic said via the tournament's official Web site. "Next year will be a big challenge with the high class field, but I'm looking forward to it."

The 2015 Brisbane International will run from Jan. 4 to Jan. 10, 2015. She will take part in the doubles event alongside German World number nine Angelique Kerber. Ivanovic has previously teamed upAfter Brisbane, Ivanovic is slated to play in the first major tournament of 2015 at the Australian Open.
