Ana Ivanovic During The WTA Finals
Top seed Serbian athlete and reigning champion Ana Ivanovic had booked a spot in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Abierto Monterrey Afirme. Sporting couples always find a way to spend some time together despite their busy schedules playing on the field. This is exactly what Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is trying to do for his rumoured girlfriend. The midfielder intends to spend the winter break with his tennis star rumoured girlfriend, Ana Ivanovic, in Australia as she is set to play in the Australian Open next month.

The two were spotted together Down Under ahead of the Australian Open at the Melbourne Park sports complex during the Christmas break, according to Yahoo Sports. The two have finally found the time to be together even for a short period of time for the holidays.

Ivanovic and Schweinsteiger have been known as one of those rumoured sporting couples who has an on-and-off kind of relationship. They were rumoured to have started their relationship sometime in September this year when they were snapped strolling while holding hands in the streets of New York. During that time, the tennis star was competing for the 2014 U.S. Open.

It would seem like they were really trying to work out their rumoured relationship despite the distance. Schweinsteiger flying to Australia, or the US just to be with the tennis star was not the first time. In fact, it has been reported that when Ivanovic celebrated her 27th birthday last month, the World Cup winner Schweinsteiger flew to Serbia just to be with Ivanovic on her birthday.

The rumoured sporting couple having to have survived this kind of relationship-on and off and across boarders-seemed to work so well with them although there were rumours of conflict in between. Despite, they immerge spending good times during holidays and off seasons. It might just be too easy and early to say that they would end up together forever, but with how things are going between the World Cup champ and the tennis star, it won't hurt to say there's a great chance.
