"Battlefield Hardline" may already be slated for release next year, and it may also be an anticipated game as it will be changing its theme and focus. But it appears that no matter the hype, "Battlefield Hardline" is not the only title that may be getting some progress this year. Last year's still-in-progress game, "Battlefield 4," is slated to achieve more this coming year.

"Battlefield 4" continues to receive mixed reactions and feedback from the audience since its release. And even though the problems have not completely disappeared or that the developer is already looking at an earlier debut for "Battlefield Hardline," there may be another update coming for "Battlefielf 4" in the form of a DLC.

Fans who have been participating in the Community Test Environment initiative of "Battlefield 4" may have seen the infamous dog tag. According to VG 24/7, the dog tags are now the main clue to possibly the sixth DLC drop for the title. Officially, the CTE tests are mostly a venue to conduct gameplay testings to see what would hold for the actual event.

As far as the DLC is concerned, this would be the sixth for "Battlefield 4" since it was released. DICE has not announced if it will be adding more DLCs after the announced five, or if these free DLCs will be part of an update. Check out the speculative video below.

Apart from the spotted leak, it seems that DICE may be planning an even more expansive future for "Battlefield 4." Gamespot reports that there may be another way by which gamers can play "Battlefield 4," and this is through mobile.

Developer DICE may already even be in that pathway already, as a tech demo has been revealed, which allowed "Battlefield 4" to run on the iOS using the Frostbite Engine. Of course, a tech demo means that only parts of "Battlefield 4" have been seen to run on this build.

"Whatever you can do on console should be doable on mobile as well," said Kristoffer Benjaminsson as quoted by Gamespot. Before, there used to be limitations imposed by hardware and software, but with the introduction of Metal for the iOS, the tech demo for "Battlefield 4" on mobile was born. "Together with the latest range of hardware, Metal has created possibilities previously out of reach and for the first time we can include both high visual fidelity and a large number of objects," said Benjaminsson.
