A new free “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” prequel comic will reveal the back story of some of the characters seen in the movie. The comic teased that the villain Lex Luthor has been monitoring the activities of the Caped Crusader for a long time.

According to the comic book pages posted on Tumblr, Batman (Ben Affleck) has changed over the years. The events in Metropolis that saw Superman (Henry Cavill) face off against the people from his home world had a deep impact on the Caped Crusader.

The people in Gotham know Batman to be “tough,” but the events of Metropolis may have made him mentally tougher. “He’s seen some things,” one of the characters in the comic speculates. The trailers of the movie show how Bruce Wayne was personally affected by the fight that started in Metropolis.

The comics also show that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) has been monitoring Batman and is making plans to deal with him. Lex is not only the main villain in the movie, but he is also a business rival of Bruce Wayne.

Newly released trailers of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” show the intense rivalry between the two superheroes in the movie. Bruce’s butler Alfred (Jeremy Irons) appears to be reluctant to see Bruce take on the Man of Steel, but Bruce explains that the alien has the power to wipe out the entire human race and if there is even a 1 percent chance that he is the enemy; they should destroy him.

The second new trailer shows the world from Superman’s perspective. The superhero considers the Caped Crusader to be a vigilante who should be subdued. Clark Kent wants to write articles about the Man of Steel taking on Batman.

Even though the Man of Steel has the power to destroy the Caped Crusader, he chooses not to harm him in their encounter. Comic book fans are eagerly waiting to see who will win between the two in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
