"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to film in New Mexico once production wraps up in Detroit. Numerous reports have confirmed that in the wake of the Ebola virus scare, cast and crew have decided to head over near Deming instead of to Morocco in Africa. However, the question in every fan's mind supposedly involves the set up in the new location as it reportedly hints resemblance to Wonder Woman's fortress.

Courtesy of KOAT TV, fans are able to see an aerial view (see video below) of what "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" may have set up in New Mexico. Cinema Blend claims the massive construction in the middle of the desert resembles Wonder Woman's home island of Themyscira. However, the only thing missing to supposedly make it look like the goddess' fortress is the presence of a body of water. The site posted some photos as basis for comparison between the N.M. set construction of "BVS" to the comic book's depiction of Wonder Woman's home.

However, Comingsoon.net adds the New Mexico location could also be used as set up for Aquaman. The massive construction reportedly also resembles the aquatic superhero's underwater kingdom. Likewise, Cinema Blend's Mike Reyes once noted that a desert location for Aquaman could be featured in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Zack Snyder has reportedly utilised some concepts for the movie from the New 52 series of the comic book. Reyes supposed the movie director could be using "Lost" as basis for Aquaman's introduction in the sequel. "Lost" sees the aquatic superhero in the desert and has no recollection of how he got there. Thanks to the destruction of the World Engine in "Man of Steel," Atlantis is ruined.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" was initially speculated to film in New Mexico early September, when casting call for extras for "BVS" was posted on New Mexico's Film Office website. KOAT TV later on confirmed that production will indeed take place in the Playas area mid-November. Sources confirmed the southwestern part of N.M., near Deming, is already set up for the movie (as evident on the desert construction). However, it's still uncertain if the desert location could be used as Wonder Woman's home or Aquaman's kingdom. Fans may have to wait and see when the movie comes out on March 25, 2016.
