"Batman v Superman" is currently being shot in Chicago. While the production of the film continues, a new footage surfaced showing Ben Affleck running after a police vehicle. Affleck is seen dressed as Bruce Wayne, as he tries to climb a highway barricade. A helicopter is shown in the background, which has dropped Affleck at the Chicago Police Department's Marine Station.

According to Movie Web, the scenes for the day were shot near Chicago's Navy Pier and this has led to speculation that Aquaman can be involved in the film. Though he was not spotted anywhere on the sets, his presence has been long rumoured. What has added more to the speculation is the spotting of a trailer for an actor who was billed as "Kahina Double." Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis created Kahina's character for comic book "Aquaman 7." She is part of Aquaman's under sea super team.

Moreover, signs of KG Beast and NKV Demon were also spotted on the sets. They are the villains who have battled Aquaman in the comics. Jason Mamoa is speculated to play the role of Aquaman in "Batman v Superman" but nothing has been confirmed in this regard. Moreover, it is also being said the Aquaman would have his own full-fledged film.

Last month Jason confirmed the solo Aquaman film. He said that the film would come after "Justice League" film and would hit the theaters on July 27, 2018. According to Coming Soon, the actor is said to preparing for his role and is quite honored to play the part.

Meanwhile, in other "Batman v Superman" news it has revealed that Christopher Nolan is involved in the film. The director who is currently basking in the glory of "Interstellar's" box office's success is the executive producer of the film. In regard to Ben Affleck playing the Batman, Nolan said that he was "thrilled" when he came to know about the actor's involvement in the film.

"This is the guy who just won Best Picture as a director and as an actor, and I thought it would be a great thing that he'd be willing to do this. I think the guy is incredibly talented and I'm very excited to see what Zack and Ben do together," he told Daily Beast. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" comes to theaters March 25, 2016 and stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.
