The first trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has reportedly leaked online courtesy 4Chan on Reddit. However, fans may not be able to find the video on the Internet, according to the report. Nonetheless, the description of the rumoured footage is swirling around teasing an exciting plotline. Read on to find out how it plays out.

Warning: Potential spoilers ahead.

Picking up the news from Comic Book Movie, Movie Pilot reports that the trailer "has been on the web for a while." Since the video is untraceable, the publication has provided detailed description of the trailer instead.

Movie Pilot speculates that "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" picks up where "Man of Steel" ends. This means opening scene is a shot from the ending of the movie's prequel, "Man of Steel," which gives a glimpse of the chaos created in Metropolis in the wake of the war between Superman and another Kryptonian Zod.

Furthermore, the abovementioned entertainment news publication reveals that the voiceover narration is done by Ben Affleck, who portrays Batman/Bruce Wayne in the movie. As quoted by the website, he says that "the world has changed with the arrival of the Kryptonians."

The trailer, which gives the first look at Affleck's Batman in his Batsuit, supposedly continues with the Caped Crusader saying: "Is Superman here to save us... Or to destroy us? I'm going to find out." The trailer reportedly closes with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's" logo.

However, fans must note that in the absence of concrete evidence or comments from the studio, the report remains unconfirmed. Thus, it is wise to consider the news with a grain of salt. It must also be noted that this is not the first time rumours about "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer have emerged.

As noted by Inquisitr, previous reports surfaced claiming that the highly anticipated trailer will be released with "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies." Peter Jackson's movie was released earlier in this month. However, there was no "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer attached to it. According to the website, new reports now claim that the much-awaited trailer will be unveiled on Christmas Day, but the studio has yet to confirm or deny this info.

Besides Affleck, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot and Jeremy Irons. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on Mar. 25, 2016.
