The IMAX event where the first trailer for “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” was recently shown gave few fortunate fans a chance to see another scene from the preview that was not released publicly. This action sequence was particularly the much-anticipated fight scene between the two heroes.

According to Cinema Blend, fans were first treated to a sight of Batman’s Batmobile with “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder standing before it to officially open the IMAX event. What was reportedly screened during the event was basically the same first official trailer that was released online. However, Snyder had an extra action sequence added at the end, which shows a promising epic fight scene between Superman and Batman.

The added scene in the trailer was reportedly shown after the Batman v Superman logo panned out on screen. Whereas in the released preview the trailer ends with the logo, in the IMAX trailer Snyder added another close up look at Superman’s (Henry Cavill) face. This time Kal El is in a different setting and no longer seen standing outside under the rain as what was shown publicly. Superman is seen in what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse. Then he looks up and at eye level sees Batman (Ben Affleck) and tries to stare him down.

Batman on his end reportedly stares back in those glowing eyes in his armoured Batsuit, similar to what was seen in the first official trailer for “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” However, the IMAX trailer reportedly ended with the two heroes charging at each other. Comicbook said Superman is first seen running through something before the camera pans out to reveal Batman in his Batsuit also charging towards Kal El with his arms out, while Superman charges “with a huge fist like in the comics.”

According to Cinema Blend, the last scene was a medium shot of Superman and Batman “locking arms, beginning their battle” before the trailer cuts to the “Batman V Superman” title. The IMAX trailer reportedly lasted for five to six seconds. Then “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder came back out to tell viewers to enjoy the IMAX details on the charging scene, revealing that it won’t be publicly released since it’s IMAX exclusive. Snyder also treated fans to an IMAX shot of that scene in the trailer where Batman asks Superman, “Tell me, do you bleed?”
